Mark Cuban was the keynote speaker at the CEDIA breakfast. He is spearheading 2 high-definition channels, HDNet and HDNet Movies (not available on Oceanic Cablevision in Hawaii). He announced the formation of HDNet Movies. They will be commissioning made-for-HDNet movies and hope to produce 6-8 movies per year. HDNet is the only all-HD, 24-hour-a-day station. It is available on small dish satellite (not in Hawaii) and some cable systems.

AudioAccess introduced this new wall-mounted color touchscreen designed to control the AudioAccess system and other systems in the home. Expected to be available in April and priced at about $1200.

Sonance showed 2 new user interface products. The first was this handheld programmable remote control.

AudioAccess is planning a new integrated AV receiver with 6-zone music distribution. Shown here are the keypads planned for this system.
